PESTICIDE RESIDUAL TESTING
The tests cover qualitative and quantitative determination of pesticides in food, soil, groundwater, drinking water etc. This is to comply with Food Act 1983 and EPA tolerance limits.

POLYMER
We use Differential Scanning Calorimetry to study phase transitions, such as melting glass transitions, or exothermic decompositions of polymers.

We are equipped with the Thermogravimetric Analyzer which is used to determine the degradation temperatures, absorbed moisture content of materials, the level of inorganic and organic components in materials and solvent residues of polymer.

CHEMICAL COMPOUNDS
A Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer is used to identify organic materials in household items, plastics, food products, fibers, adhesives, industrial materials, etc.

Our laboratory is equipped with the Liquid Chromotography-Tantem Mass Spectrometer (LC-MS/MS) and the Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometer (GCMS) in determining unknown organic compounds in various type of samples. Applications of LC-MS/MS and GC-MS include drugs detection, fire investigation, environmental analysis,explosives investigation, etc.
